Clearings
Do you dread clutter clearing? I used to, especially when I allowed the clutter to collect for too long. Then, it’s more than intimidating — it can be downright frightening!
Once I realized there was a pattern here that I needed to overcome, I did what I often do for clarity: I wrote a poem.
From Overwhelm to Clarity
This one emerged as a short, three-stanza poem that shifts my initial focus from something negative to something positive. Instead of concentrating on my fear of dealing with various kinds of clutter in my life, I chose to focus on the freedom I always experience when I confront the challenge.
Sharing Success
Since the insights that came with this poem were helpful to me in overcoming a persistent and arguably universal problem, I’m offering it now as a help to others who struggle with the same challenge. My poem’s words have been supplemented with beautiful art to keep and enjoy as a good reminder of the importance of what I call “Clearings” — and the freedom that comes with them!
