Who we are

My penchant for em dashes and semicolons began in the first grade—all thanks to my father. An extraordinary writer and editor, he guided me in the craft from an early age. I am lucky to follow in his footsteps.

Today I am thrilled to share this boutique publishing house, featuring my father’s lifelong work alongside a new generation of voices. We have built this as a serene, welcoming space for captivating narratives and emotional solace.

Welcome home. Sink your feet into the sand and walk along the water's edge with us.

A zoomed in shot of a man wearing a dark gray shirt writes in a notebook with a pen, sitting at a dark wooden table in a cozy coffee shop, with a mug on the left side. He is featured poet, Daniel B. Rebant.

With a career spanning decades as a writer and editor, Daniel brings a unique anchor to Water’s Edge Poetry. He is drawn to the mystical side of faith—those quiet, contemplative moments that naturally overflow into compassion for others. His work serves as a bridge, making deep spirituality feel both inclusive and practical for everyday life.

Daniel’s poetry draws inspiration from the Transcendental tradition of Emerson and Thoreau in finding “the extraordinary in the ordinary.” Whether he is reflecting on a lakeside sunrise or a moment of quiet prayer, his words offer a sure path for anyone seeking a deeper connection to the sacred.
