šHello, Fallš
Autumn is officially here, which means Iām adding fall flavors and fragrances everywhere I can. I just found a new recipe for apple cider cinnamon rolls, and I canāt wait to try them! Iām sure the whole house will smell like a bakery (fingers crossed).
Fall has always been my favorite time of year, especially with its nostalgic back-to-school excitement. New school supplies, new outfits, new classmates ā itās always full of newness and change. The crisp chill in the air is refreshing, and the vibrant kaleidoscope of leaves create a festive landscape. Fall feels comforting, as we usher in the cooler months with cozy sweaters and hot cocoa.
I probably romanticize this season a bit too much, but maybe thatās okay. Maybe staying grounded in autumn traditions and relishing special moments is important as the world around us is transforming. Fallās colorful panorama can be a background for our own changes too.
An Autumn Reveal
With all that in mind, I want to mention a little autumn magic Iāve whipped up for you! Iāve been writing a collection of poetry and prose rooted in the fall season. In my ebookās pages, youāll find a full spectrum of moods ā from dark academia vibes and subtle gothic undertones to pieces as warm and comforting as a hygge hearth. My collection is called Dance of the Midnight Flame, and itās available now! From my heart to yours, I hope you enjoy the ebook and all the delicious flavors and experiences this season has to offer. šššāØ
The Logbook Prompt:
āWhatās your favorite thing about fall?
Write about it in exquisite detail in three sentences. Challenge yourself to avoid "to-be" verbs (is, was, were) and tell your story using direct, active, and sensory language. Youāll wind up with a beautiful sketch in words.
