Planting Seeds

The good we do is like planting seeds.

Some seeds, like grass, sprout

and grow quickly

to fill the fields with green;

Others, like acorns, sprout and grow

slowly

to grace the fields with shelter for a

future unseen.

Yet each seed progresses on time

with a pattern that finds its way—

perfectly unique, undoubtedly divine—

and surely fulfilling its promise one day.
